Lockdown at Oak Hills High School

(Cincinnat, OH) - Oak Hills High School was placed on lockdown Thursday morning after the school district says a student showed what turned out to a BB gun to two other students. According to the Oak Hills School District, the two students alerted school security. The district says the suspect made no threats and had walked out of the building. The BB gun was allegedly found in his backpack.

"A great thank you to those students who did the right thing. Also to our security personnel who were there immediately--handled it beautifully", said Krista Ramsey, director of public relations & communications for Oak Hills School District.

Ramsey says the district considers it a case of "very poor judgement" by the student and the district is working with police on what action may be taken against the suspect.
