( Kenton County, Kentucky ) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it's erring on the side of caution when it comes to a recent theft in Northern Kentucky.
On January 26, police say the suspect pictured above broke into the Kenton County Circuit Court Clerk's office in Covington and stole equipment used to make IDs and driver's licenses.
In a statement sent out Thursday, the cabinet says there were no social security numbers compromised by the theft, but letters are being sent out to about 800 people to let them know they can get a new driver's license for free, as a precaution.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
