Man Wanted in Green Township Convenience Store Robbery


Police In Green Township are looking for a suspect after an alleged armed convenience store robbery Saturday night.

They say the male suspect went into the Ameristore at 6545 Harrison Avenue at 7:41 p.m., walked up to the counter, displaying a black semi-automatic handgun, demanding money from the register, as the employee complied.

The suspect then fled from the store on foot.

A Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office K-9 responded to the scene and attempted to track the suspect, but was not able to.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'2", 250 pounds, wearing dirty blue jeans, a light grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and dark gym shoes.

He also wore a ski mask with a dark knit cap.

The incident remains under investigation by the Green Township Police Investigative Unit.
