Hamilton County Teen Killed In Indiana Crash

(Franklin County, IN) - A Hamilton County teen is dead and four other teens are injured after a wreck in rural Franklin County, Indiana on December 30.

The teens were in a 200 red Pontiac that was driven by 18-year-old Zachary Ferending on Oxford Pike at Dorrell road. The driver lost control of the car, causing it to leave the road and roll into trees. The car came to a rest on its roof.

State troopers say Bryce Hizer, 15, was killed in the crash. Passengers Vivian Hibert, 16, Zachary Dockery, 16 and Tyler Heatherly, 15 were all seriously injured. They're being treated at Cincinnati-area hospitals.

Alcohol and drugs aren't believed to be factors in the wreck, but toxicology results are pending.
