The Kenwood Towne Centre is not going to be your babysitter over the Christmas break. The mall is going to a mandatory daytime curfew between Christmas and New Years. Operators say the curfew is being instituted "in an effort to eliminate disruptive behavior by unsupervised youth."
Beginning December 26, the mall will station trained public safety and police officers at all entrances to check IDs of visitors and anyone under 18 will not be admitted without an accompanying adult. The curfew applies to the Kenwood Towne Centre parking lot and sidewalks in addition to the interior of the mall.
