4 Arrested in Turtlecreek Township Shooting Death

The Warren County Sheriff's Office Tuesday evening arrested four people in connection to the shooting death of Mason Trudics, 18, of Centerville early Friday morning in Turtlecreek Township.

Their investigation determined that Trudics, along with the four people arrested, Kayla Carmack, 17, of Lebanon, Dakota Cox, 18, of Kettering, Logan Dean, 16, of Centerville and Jacob Hicks, 16, of Centerville, planned to rob an kidnap a male individual and one of them called him to 1869 Oregonia Road.

When he arrived, he was attacked with a gun and baseball bat. The male individual was armed with a gun and shot in defense, hitting and killing Trudics and critically injuring Dean.

The shooter has not been charged and is no longer considered a suspect.

The four arrested are being held at either the Warren County Jail or Warren County Juvenile Detention Center.

Carmack lived at the residence where the shooting took place.
