One Dead, One Injured After Gunfire at Downtown Bar

( Cincinnati ) - Two people were shot after gunfire rang out at a downtown bar hosting multiple private events on Thanksgiving night.

Just before 2am, police were called to reports of a person shot in the 900 block of Race St. They didn't find any gunshot victims, but people were fleeing from the bar, and officers heard gunshots from areas nearby.

In all, dozens of rounds were fired, and officers have been investigating multiple crime scenes around the Chalet bar downtown where the incident is believed to have started. That bar was hosting multiple private events at the time.

Two people were taken by private conveyance to UC Medical Center. One man was pronounced dead on arrival, 25-year-old Desmond Watson (pictured). Another victim was wounded.

Police have not released any information on suspects.
