(Burlington, KY) - On Sunday November 17, 2019 at approximately 3:15 PM, Boone County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to Galaxy Vapors located at 1624 Burlington Pike for a reported robbery in progress call.
The Sheriff says that a white male suspect entered the business and aimlessly walked around for a brief period of time before ultimately rushing toward an employee while armed with a knife. The employee reportedly complied with the suspect’s demands to open the cash register. The suspect then allegedly fled the business with some merchandise along with cash from the register.
The Sheriff says the suspect drove away in a newer model black sedan in the direction of Burlington Pike. The suspect is described as a white male, average height, thin build with a bald head and facial hair. He was wearing grey pants and black hooded sweatshirt.
