(700 WLW)- Firefighters were sent to a house fire early Sunday Morning in the 1600 block of Jonathan in Evanston. First arriving firefighters were on scene within minutes and located the blaze coming from the second floor of the three story home. A second alarm was requested due to the nature of the incident and difficulty getting to the fire which was in the knee-walls of the attic. The fire was under control in about ten minutes. No injuries reported. The fire did cause about $50,000 in damage.
