Jail Porter Charged in Inmate's Overdose Death

( Cincinnati ) - The Hamilton County Prosecutor has announced charges related to the overdose death of a jail inmate earlier this year.

Kadeem Kelly is charged with involuntary manslaughter, corrupting another with drugs, and fentanyl trafficking. Kelley was an inmate in the Hamilton County Jail and was working as a porter when Satwinder Singh (pictured) suffered a fatal overdose. Investigators say Kelley supplied the drugs that killed Singh.

Singh was behind bars on charges that he was impaired when his truck drove onto the sidewalk along Hopple Street on Dec 30, 2018, fatally striking 2-year-old Dameon Turner. Turner was in a stroller on a walk with his family at the time.
