Colerain Police: Metal Reported in Halloween Candy

( Colerain ) - One was found in a Reese's cup, the other in a Kit-Kat bar.

Police in Colerain are investigating the discovery of razor blade-like metal in Halloween candy collected last night by trick-or-treaters.

Police Chief Mark Denney says it was discovered during a normal inspection by parents once the children got back home. One of the parents suffered a laceration to their finger while looking through the candy. He says the kids who brought the candy home went trick or treating together in the Pleasant Run area of Colerain, and investigators say they have been able to narrow it down to a few streets that they think the candy could have come from.
