(Cincinnati) - The lottery for Cincinnati Public Schools' magnet schools is now open.
Parents who live in the district can now apply to get students into magnet elementary schools for the 2020/2021 school year. All of these applications must be submitted online and seats will be assigned randomly.
Although people don't need to be the first to submit applications, it's important to get them in by Round 1 which ends on December 6th. Parents who don't get in by Round 1 might not get into a magnet school. Round 2 for applications starts in January and Round 3 in March. Parents will be notified in January about students' status of whether they'll be given a seat or wait-listed.
