NKy Police: 185 Citations, 10 Arrests in Latest I-75 Enforcement Blitz

( Erlanger, Kentucky ) - Northern Kentucky police officers from Covington, Erlanger, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky State Police, and more were once again stationed along Interstate 75 from the Ohio River south to Erlanger this past Monday for the second in a year-long planned traffic safety blitz.

Officers ended up handing out nearly 200 citations and made ten arrests from 8am to 8pm on Monday, October 14. Far and away, the most common ticket was for speeding, but drivers were also cited for having no proof of insurance, driving on expired plates, and a variety of commercial vehicle violations as well.

Law enforcement says they'll hold another campaign in December, and they want to get the word out as much as possible.
