A Fatal Accident Early Thursday Night Takes The Life Of The Driver

(700 WLW)- The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office continue their investigation after a fatal motor vehicle crash which occurred in the 8500 block of SR-32 in Anderson Township, Thursday evening just after 6 o'clock. 53 year old Andrew Wagner of Clermont County, was operating a 1998 Honda CRV, eastbound in the 8500 block of SR-32, negotiating a left bound curve in the roadway. Mr. Wagner then lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the right side of the roadway, causing the right side of his vehicle to strike a utility pole. Mr. Wagner sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

46 year old Robert Meyer also of Clermont County, was a passenger in the vehicle. Mr. Meyer was mechanically extricated by the Anderson Township Fire Department and transported to University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Neither speed nor alcohol and/or drugs of abuse were factors in this crash.

This crash remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit.
