Pendleton Co. Barn Fire Kills Father, 2 Daughters

A man and two of his daughters were killed after a fire broke out at a barn late Sunday night in Pendleton County.

The barn on Kentucky 17 near DeMossville was built with a living space on the second level, where 35 year-old Carl Grizovic and his 7 and 9 year-old daughters were said to be when the fire started.

Fire officials says the barn had electricity.

Grizovic's wife and three other children were in the family's home at the time, about 75 yards away from the barn.

Autopsies on all three victims will be performed in Frankfort Tuesday.

The Kentucky State Police and the Campbell County Fire Investigation Team are investigating the incident.
