( West Chester ) - On what was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives, a newly married couple became robbery victims, instead.
West Chester Police were called to the parking lot of the Marriott Cincinnati North on Muhlhauser Road early Saturday morning for a bride and groom who were robbed. Investigators say the pair were walking to their vehicle when a man pulled the necklace off the bride, then ran to a getaway vehicle driven by a second suspect. The police report describes the necklace as being a gold chain with several coins worth $3,500.
The suspect is described as a black man who got into a white pickup truck.
