Tri-state man in jail for making threat against Planned Parenthood

(Cincinnati, OH) An Independence, KY man is being held on $100,000 bond, accused of having a homemade destructive device in his home. Daniel Kibler was arrested after a tip that he threatened to use a flammable liquid on an organization in Cincinnati.

The judge in the case says she believes the 28-year-old Kibler is "very dangerous."

He appeared in a video arraignment this morning in Kenton County. The alleged target was Planned Parenthood, but investigators didn't reveal which location.

Investigators received a search warrant and called in the SWAT team, searching his Open Meadow Drive home, where they found the device.

Police found the flammable liquid in an open-top container and say Kibler admitted to storing the flammable liquid for up to two years. Kibler lives in the home with his wife and seven children.

Kibler faces eight charges of wanton endangerment, terrorist threatening, and possession of a destructive device.

If Kibler posts bond, the judge ordered him to stay somewhere other than his home and remain on home incarceration.
