She will not do any additional time behind bars.
A Warren County judge placing Brooke Skylar Richardson on probation today for three years for gross abuse of a corpse. Even though a jury found her not guilty of Aggravated Murder and Involuntary Manslaughter, Judge Donald Oda told her that if she had made different choices her baby would be alive. Before handing down the sentence, the court heard for the first time from the paternal grandma of Richardson's baby. Tracy Johnson said had Skylar told them about the child, she would have welcomed her into her home and no one would have ever had to know.
The remains of the baby are being turned over to Skylar's family for a proper burial.
