Blue Ash Mayor dies in France

The Mayor of the City of Blue Ash, Thomas C. Ademec, has died while on vacation in France. Adamec had been fighting an auto-immune disease for the last several years. He was 65.

Ademec was first appointed to Blue Ash City Council on April 23, 2009. He was elected to Council on December 1, 2002.

Four years later, Ademec was sworn-in as Vice Mayor on December 2, 2013.

He began serving as Mayor after taking the oath on December 1, 2017.

Ademec is survived by his wife, Diane and two daughters. One is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, while the other daughter attends UC. Both daughters graduated from Sycamore High School.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
