Historic TriState Home Damaged by Flames.

The home is on the National Register of Historic Landmarks. A fire last night in Clifton at a house that was designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright.The Boulter House on Rawson Wood Circle is one of only three that Wright designed in Cincinnati and features original furniture and fixtures that he designed as well.

Cincinnati firefighters say they contained the blaze to the front room and damage has been put at 100 thousand dollars. The homeowners were not home at the time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The home was built in 1954 and was on the market for $695,000 earlier this year. Below you can the original design for the house which was built to look like a ship. The second photo below is from the Frank Lloyd Wright foundation and shows the 28 foot long great room.
