( Cincinnati ) - Police are asking for help finding a suspect in a murder last month that was part of the summer spike in homicides.
Police have released a poster trying to find 36-year-old Mareo Akins. He's wanted for the July 8 murder of Michael Douthit, fatally shot near the Amir Mini Market on Findlay Street.
Police say Akins' last known address is in Elkwood Dr in Forest Park, but investigators say he still frequents the West End. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
