( Warren County ) - A conviction and sentencing on Wednesday for a Carlisle man who sexually assaulted young girls.
69-Year-Old Ronald Rowland was found guilty by a jury on multiple counts of rape, gross sexual imposition, and more. Immediately after, the judge sentenced him to life in prison. He'll also be designated a Tier III sex offender.
Investigators say Rowland abused two girls from 2009 to 2017, the first victim when she was 9-years-old, the second starting when she was 12. It wasn't until March of 2018 when the first victim told her mother about the abuse.
A statement from the Warren County prosecutor says Rowland's first chance at parole will be in 56 years.
