Man Shot By Police a Suspect in Multiple Area Robberies

A man shot by a police officer following a pursuit and foot chase on Cincinnati's west side has been identified as a man wanted in several robberies in the tri-state.

36 year-old Robert Schneider had robbed a Marathon gas station in Green Township on Cheviot Road this morning which led to the pursuit by police.

On Monday, Schneider held up Kimmy's Korner Grocery in Covington at gunpoint, stealing cash, as well as a customer's wallet and phone. He would then go to Saks Fifth Avenue and try to make a large purchase with a stolen credit card.

Schneider then robbed Hyde Park Wine and Spirits, holding two clerks at gunpoint and was said to be intoxicated at the time.

Schneider's condition is not known at this time.

A woman who was with Schneider during the Monday robberies has been arrested and charged.
