(Boone County, KY) -- A Hebron man is facing a number of charges, including Second Degree Manslaughter and OVI, after a fatal crash on Camp Ernst Road on Monday morning.
The Boone County Sheriff's Office says they were called to Bluestem Drive around 3:18 a.m. for the report of a crash with extrication.
When they got there they found a 2006 Chevy Malibu in the backyard of a home on Bluestem. Deputies say 22-year-old Anthony Yeager was driving the car south on Camp Ernst Road when it left the roadway, drove through two yards, hit a tree and damaged a fence before stopping in the backyard of the Bluestem Drive home.
Yeager was arrested later and also charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license and drug paraphernalia. Officers say he was likely driving 20-miles-per-hour over the speed limit at the time of the crash. 19-Year-Old Lamail Borders was pronounced dead in the vehicle. Investigators say there were also two 15-year-olds in the car who suffered injuries.
