METRO Apologizes After Pride Festival Goer Banned from the Bus

"You just can't keep gender freaky people from public resources". A person who attended the Pride festival last month in Cincinnati wrote that on Facebook after being blocked from taking the Metro bus home afterwards. John Na Jackson says the driver said kids ride the bus and would not allow Jackson to get on board.

After going public about it, Jackson did receive an apology from the bus company which says the driver was wrong. Metro responded to Jackson's post with one of it's own,

"we apologize that you experienced this unfortunate situation. Metro prides itself on being an inclusive service for all. We have passed along

the information you shared with our customer relations team to investigate and address to ensure this type of situation does not occur again."

Metro says Jackson was not banned because of sexuality but because of attire. See Jackson's original Facebook post below.
