Suspect in West Chester Quadruple Murder Arrested

(West Chester, OH) - West Chester police have arrested a suspect in the murders of four people. 37-year-old Gurpreet Singh was arrested this afternoon in cooperation with the Branford, Connecticut Police Department. Singh is being held in the New Haven County Jail. West Chester police have signed warrants on four counts of aggravated murder on Singh. The charges stem from the homicides of Hakikat Singh, 59; Paramjit Singh, 62; Amarjit Kaur, 58; and Shalinderjit Kaur, 38.

Gurpreet was the husband of Shalinderjit, the son-in-law of Hakikat & Paramjit; and the nephew by marriage of Amarjit. Police say that Gurpreet made the original call to 911 on April 28, 2019 to report the murders at the Wyndtree Drive apartment complex.
