Cincinnati is one of the best cities in America for Recreation

Wallethub says Cincinnati is the 7th best city in America for Recreation.

With the 4th of July holiday approaching, the personal finance website compared the 100 largest cities in the US on 48 different indicators of recreation-friendliness. Cincinnati ranked number one for spending on parks per capita. The city also scored well for the number of swimming pools per capita, the number of music venues and park playgrounds.

Cincinnati was the only Midwest city to crack the top ten. San Diego was number one, followed by Las Vegas and Orlando. At the bottom of the list, Jersey City, NJ. Columbus is ranked 41st and Cleveland came in at 43.
