(Adams County, OH) - There's still no official word on what caused the fire at an Adams County winery, but firefighters think the blaze started in the kitchen.
They say the flames started at the Moyer Winery and Restaurant at around 3 a.m. on Thursday. More than 100 firemen from across the region came to battle the blaze off U.S. 52. One was hurt, but he is expected to be OK.
The winery is a staple in Adams County and first opened in 1972. The building just went through a renovation about a year ago. The winery employed 30 people.
