(Cincinnati) - A federal trial date has been set for the man accused of lying to authorities and saying he was a missing boy from Illinois.

Northeast Ohio man Brian Rini will be in court on June 24. He pleaded not guilty to two counts of lying to federal agents last week. He also pleaded not guilty to a charge of identity theft. The charges for lying carry sentences of eight years and the identity theft charge could put him behind bars for two years.

Rini told Newport, Kentucky police he was Timmothy Pitzen on April 3 and that he escaped two men who were sexually abusing him. Pitzen has been missing from Aurora, Illinois since 2011.
