For the Reds 150th season, the team is bringing back a promotional campaign that was extremely popular during the All-Star season of 2015. Commemorative benches will be installed all over town celebrating the clubs history. For the All Star Game the benches were shaped like mustaches, this time they will be replicas of the old dugout bench from Crosley Field.
Each bench will feature Mr Redlegs dressed in a different throwback uniform from the clubs historic past. The benches will start to appear around town next month with the Reds giving clues about their locations on social media. To get permission to put the benches in locations across the city of Cincinnati, the Reds have to get permission from Council for a zoning variance. These images were submitted to the city to give lawmakers an idea of what they will look like when they are finished.
