We do not know the extent of the injuries yet but 19 students have been transported to the hospital after a bus crash on State Route 350 in Dearborn County. The crash occurred as a Rumpke garbage truck was stopped in the road and was rear ended by the bus. The school bus was transporting children to several different schools in the South Dearborn district. The superintendent says he does not believe that any of the injuries are life threatening. Most of the students are being treated at Dearborn County hospital while one student was taken to Childrens Hospital. Initially, Aircare was called to help transport victims to the hospital but the helicopter could not fly because of scattered snow showers in the area.
