( Anderson Twp ) - A woman is facing charges after she allegedly struck two vehicles at Nagel Middle School on Tuesday morning.
The Hamilton County Sheriff says 50-year-old Ellen Craven was driving erratically as she turned into the school's lot off of Nagel Road just after 8am. She allegedly drove in to oncoming traffic and struck one vehicle, then continued into the student dropoff lane, striking another car.
The sheriff says Craven then dropped a child off at the school before she tried to drive away, ultimately driving off the road, disabling her car.
Drugs or medication is suspected to have played a role. Craven is now charged with OVI and child endangerment.
