(Cincinnati) - The Ohio River is rising and could reach 56 feet by the end of the week.
As of this afternoon, the river was at 51 feet and will probably reach 52 feet by Monday night. The National Weather Service says that at this point, areas of Kellogg Avenue and the East End will begin to flood.
A few more inches of rain are possible in the area from now until Thursday, which could make the river rise even more.
In February of last year the river rose to 60.5 feet, causing major floods in the area.
