( Cincinnati ) - New businesses coming to The Banks will give people a chance to get thick drinks and deep burns.
The Banks announced on Monday that both Planet Fitness and Smoothie King are opening new locations next to each other on Second Street. In a statement, Planet Fitness Midwest COO Mike Hamilton says it was his company's New Year's goal to open a location in downtown Cincinnati. That Planet Fitness location will be open to members 24 hours a day Monday through Friday and 7am to 7pm on weekends.
The businesses will be on top of the Central Riverfront Garage near a streetcar stop.
Construction is getting underway now, and both businesses are expected to open this May.
