(Cincinnati) - La Soupe Inc., and Cincinnati State are teaming up to provide free meals for furloughed federal workers and their families on January 23-24.
Up to 1,500 meals will be made per day by local chefs and assistants. The meals will be served by Cincinnati State’s Summit Restaurant from 5-8pm, which is located on its Clifton Campus at 3520 Central Parkway.
If the federal workers and their families would like takeout, picking up their meal is an option at the Summits Restaurant’s Valet entrance on College Drive from 2-8pm.
Federal workers are asked to bring their employee identification cards, however the meals and service will be free of charge.
