No Word on Charges from Deadly Crash on US 50

( Milford, Ohio ) - Ohio State troopers are still investigating the crash from Tuesday involving seven vehicles that killed one man.

Just after 5:30pm on Tuesday, January 8, investigators say a 2005 Pontiac G6 headed west on US 50 failed to yield when it turned left in front of an eastbound cement truck at Round Bottom Road. That cement truck struck the Pontiac, then continued across the center line, hitting a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Nissan Sentra. Both of those vehicles were stopped at the time. The cement truck pushed the Sentra into three stopped motorcycles, and kept going off the north side of the road, striking a building. OSHP says the cement truck ultimately overturned on top of the Sentra.

66-Year-Old Joe Cravens was driving that Nissan Sentra. He died from his injuries on Wednesday, January 9. The driver of the Pontiac and the three motorcyclists suffered minor injuries.

Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to be factors in the crash, but there's still no word yet if any charges will be filed. A statement from the patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
