A statement from the Ohio State Highway Patrol says 42-year-old Douglas Needles of Amelia was eastbound when he drove his car into the westbound lanes, crashing in to two oncoming SUVs. Needles was pronounced dead at the scene as was another driver, 55-year-old Douglas Hewitt of Florida. The woman driving the other SUV suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
