Teen Arrested After Social Media Post Threatening Ryle High School

( Union, KY ) - Boone County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested the teenager, they believe, is responsible for making a social media threat against Ryle High School.

The sheriff's office says they received a number of calls and emails from concerned parents after the threat started making the rounds online Sunday.

The post shows a person, with a blurred out face, holding a gun.

It was captioned, “I advise not going to school tomorrow” "If Ryle kids continue to pursue me, you will be capped pop pop."

Not much is known about the suspect at this time. More information is expected to be released later on Monday. 

Classes are going on as scheduled at Ryle High School.
