( Monroe, Ohio ) - Ohio State troopers say a baby was born on the side of I-75 Wednesday morning.
Just after 6am, the patrol says Nick Richards called to say his wife, Elizabeth, was in labor and that he had pulled over on I-75 in the Liberty Twp on the right shoulder. Troopers were dispatched, but not long after that call was made, the baby girl was born. Richards called back to say he was going to drive his wife and new daughter to the hospital. Troopers met them there.
The patrol says both mother and baby are doing fine.
