Ice Storm Warning in Effect for TriState

An Ice Storm warning continues for the Tristate.

We are seeing a mix of freezing rain and rain that has made roads slick in spots. The icy conditions have also brought down trees and power lines across the Tristate. Duke Energy says right now there are about 100 thousand homes without service and at this point they have no estimate yet on when power will be restored. Several schools have decided to delay the start of classes this morning or close because of the ice or a lack of power.
