(Cincinnati) - Plans for a music venue at The Banks are moving forward.
The Cincinnati Bengals say they've come to an agreement with the city and Hamilton County for the facility. The Riverview Entertainment Venue is expected to be built along Elm Street on Lot 27 of The Banks.
An event lawn is expected to be constructed on Lot 23 of The Banks.
Preferred developer CSO/MEMI says they think more than 150 events could be held annually at the space, potentially bringing in 300,000 patrons.
Team and government officials have also come to a conclusion on other matters. The Bengals say they have agreed to eliminate more than $30 million in cost agreements the county was supposed to pay them over the next 8 years.
They say this also means the team won't ask for any improvements to the facility until 2024.
The Bengals will also get more property along Mehring Way, west of the stadium, for things like parking spots and tailgating areas.
