Driver Who Flew Off I-75 Overpass Identified

(West Chester) - Update: Police have identified the driver as 31 year-old Cecil Booker, of Middletown. 

Investigators say he was driving his Pontiac Grand Am on NB I-75 when he went off the left side of the road into the median, hit an embankment near Lesourdsville West Chester Rd, went airborne, and then struck a bridge pillar. 

Booker's car was ripped in half. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It's still unknown what caused him to leave the roadway. 

The accident is still under investigation.

 One person has died after a car fell off of an interstate overpass Tuesday morning.

The vehicle fell off of an overpass on I-75 onto LeSourdsville West Chester Road around 10 a.m. 

Roads in the area were closed for several hours after the crash.  Police haven't released the victim's identity or details on what happened yet.
