( Cincinnati ) - The first round of the online lottery to place Cincinnati Public School students in to magnet schools for next year is about to begin, and the district wants to help parents understand the process.
CPS is holding two more information sessions before the first round of the online lottery begins.
Info sessions are scheduled for:
- Thursday, October 18, Sands Montessori, 6421 Corbly, 45230, from 5pm to 7pm
- Wednesday, November 7, LEAP Academy, 2001 Baltimore, 45225, from 5pm to 7pm
Round 1 of the lottery opens November 6 for enrollment in CPS magnet elementary schools for the 2019-2020 school year. Round 1 lasts until December 14, and two more rounds are planned, but parents are encouraged to send in their applications early because classes fill up quickly.
