( Mason ) - The Warren County Prosecutor says a Mason man has admitted to physically abusing his baby and waiting days before seeking medical help.
33-Year-Old Jason Bittner's 3-month-old daughter was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital on February 28, 2018, with multiple injuries including damage to her brain, retinal bleeding, more than two dozen rib fractures, and facial bruising. Investigators say Bittner abused the child on February 26, and waited before seeking treatment. Doctors have told investigators they do not know what the long-term effects of the injuries will be. They describe the injuries as "abusive head trauma."
On Thursday, Bittner admitted to a 2nd degree felony count of endangering children. No word on when he'll be sentenced.
