Here is an update from the Hamilton County Sheriff on a hit skip accident overnight on Hamilton Avenue near Sevenhills Drive:
The deputy involved is Deputy Curtis Taylor. Curtis is a veteran with the Sheriff’s Office for 21 years.
Deputy Taylor was working an off duty traffic detail when incident happened.
At this time, his medical condition is critical but stable.
Investigation is on-going. We have no further information relating to the accident.
