(Cincinnati) - The Cincinnati Police Department is honoring both officers and civilians for their actions during the downtown mass shooting at the Fifth Third Center Building.
Police Chief Eliot Isaac will join officers at Fountain Square for a ceremony on October 1 to thank them for their help that day. The event starts at 11:15 a.m. and is open to the public.
An armed suspected opened the downtown skyscraper located on Fountain Square on September 6 and started shooting.
Two people were hurt and three were killed in the gunfire.
