Providing Millions of Meals for Needy TriState Families

The Freestore Foodbank is thanking all of its sponsors, team members, volunteers and the community for their tremendous support. They have just released the results of this years Rubber Duck Regatta fundraiser:


This morning, during the Rubber Duck Regatta Prize presentation at the Freestore Foodbank administrative offices in the West End, the Freestore Foodbank announced that more than $1 million was raised through the 24th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta presented by Dawn. That is the equivalent of more than three million meals. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the event has raised more than $1 million. More than 176,000 rubber ducks swam on the Ohio River on Sunday, September 2 prior to the Western & Southern/WEBN Fireworks.

In its 24 year history, the Rubber Duck Regatta has raised more than $12 million dollars, the equivalent of more than 36 million meals for hungry children and families in our community.The Freestore Foodbank shares its sincerest, "thanks" to all of its sponsors, team members, volunteers and the community for their tremendous support.
