( Cold Spring, Kentucky ) - Police are investigating after a deadly crash on Thursday paralyzed traffic in much of northern Kentucky.
Just after 2:30pm, investigators say a red Honda sedan headed south on the AA Highway swerved from the left lane, onto the median, and into oncoming traffic on the northbound side. It's believed the driver was trying to avoid crashing into traffic backed up on the southbound side.
The red Honda was struck by a white Ford coupe headed northbound on the AA Highway. The driver of the red Honda was killed, and police say a child in that car was injured. Two people in the white Ford coupe were injured as well, though the extent of any injuries has not yet been made public.
