Hoxworth Blood Center Asking For Donations After Shooting

Hoxworth Blood Center

(Cincinnati) – Hoxworth Blood Center is asking for donations in the wake of the Fifth Third shooting.

Spokeswoman Alecia Lipton says the blood bank has enough blood to help shooting victims, but needs Cincinnatians to step-up so they can replenish their reserves.

Hoxworth is looking for all blood types and needs Type O-Negative the most at this time.

Anyone who would like to donate can visit blood center locations until 7 p.m. today. They can call 513-451-0910 to make an appointment to donate.
