Cincinnati Police Officer Shot in Walnut Hills

(Walnut Hills) A Cincinnati Police Officer is expected to fully recover after being shot while serving a felony warrant at an apartment in the 2600 block of Victory Parkway. Chief Police Elliott Issac says the officer was shot in the arm and he was taken to UC Medical Center by fellow officers. The Chief says the suspect on the second floor of the apartment building was shot and killed. FOP President Dan Hils says he has talked with the officer and he is awake and sharp. Hils says the officer credits fellow officers with saving his life. No names are being released yet as the investigation continues.
